The wedding is over but the marriage has just begun!
I’m headed to my home state of Indiana to celebrate one of my dear friend’s Bridal Shower/Bachelorette Party Indy-style! Wish us luck as we tear up the town during her last fling before the ring! We have a lot of fun surprises up our sleeves in a weekend full of dancing, cocktails, gossip, and celebration!
This cute little tune just came on my Pandora station and it put a huge smile on my face as it reminds me of love + weddings + fun. You may recognize it from the movie Juno. If I had been smart and hired a videographer, I would want my wedding video to include this song!

I just got back from Miami from the wedding of the year! I mean it! My dear friend’s wedding was spectacular {for lack of a better word}. I just keep re-living the moments by clicking and re-clicking through the photos posted on Facebook.
Which is exactly how I came across this photo -
Oh my…I am so embarrassed! What a total photobomb! Persephone and her sweet dad look amazing in this special moment walking down the aisle but unfortunately, your eye floats over to the weird girl in the bright coral dress - me!
It’s pretty obvious that I love weddings but this pic shows my emotions for her nuptials. I was overcome by the feeling of love in the room and unfortunately, it was captured and ruined this sweet little pic. {I’m sincerely sorry Persephone}

Can you imagine if a tornado threatened your wedding? I would be an absolute disaster. Apparently, this cute little couple weren’t phased. Coming from Kansas {the groom} and Nebraska {the bride}, a tornado isn’t out of the ordinary so there was no cause for alarm. Absolutely nothing was going to rain on their parade!
Comforted by the fact that the twister wasn’t headed in the direction of their wedding, it was business as usual! Take that, bridezillas!

Our dear friends are getting married in {South Dakota} over {Labor Day Weekend}, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be there as guests to witness their nuptials. After our cross-country road trip, we have a soft spot in our hearts for South Dakota.
As if we weren’t excited enough already, their engagement photos have me wishing for September!
