The trendiest romantics are proving their love by writing it in stone – a diamond, that is.
Now lovers can personalize diamond jewelry and diamond engagement rings by having a…
Do you know the difference between Fiancée and Fiancé?
If you are engaged, then you should know that there is a difference. If you don’t, it’s okay, you aren’t French!
Let this be your grammar lesson for the day!
fiance Meaning(s) (n) a man who is engaged to be married fiancee Meaning(s) (n) a woman who is engaged to be married
I had it all figured out! Yep. I was set on wearing a pearly statement necklace. I even bought one so I could try it on with my dress at my first fitting at the end of July. All set!
So why am I still thinking about it? And why am I so unhappy with my decision?
I really like the look of long chandelier earrings! If i go that route, I will go sans necklace, which could be quite beautiful and show off my neckline.

I can’t stop drooling over these beauties! These Tejani Chandelier Statement Earrings are $295, which means way too much money for my little pocket book to handle.
I just added something else to my never-ending to do list. Now I am on the hunt for these earrings (or some very similar) at a more affordable price.
Any suggestions?

I saw these pewter cufflinks at Paper Source and fell in love. I picked them up and walked around the store with every intention of getting them for Beetle. We are both huge animal lovers, especially of the canine type so it would be a perfect gift. I ended up putting them back and now I can’t stop thinking about them. I have the opposite of buyer’s remorse. I have non-buyer’s remorse. For the cost of a beer and a mixed drink in the city, they could be mine! (Paper Source, $15.95)

Beetle is traveling to NYC for work today which means we had to get up extra early to walk the dogs and get him to Union Station to catch the train. We sleepily got dressed and leashed up the dogs. A few minutes into our walk, I hear “OMG, look at us!” I looked back, wiped the sleep from my eyes, and saw exactly why Beetle was shocked.
We were both wearing green t-shirts. Not only that, we were both wearing blue pants! And I mean the exact same shade of green and blue! We looked like little twinsies as we walked the pups. I can only imagine what the neighbors thought.
We are just to peas in a pod!
…and I can’t wait to be his wife!
Do you think of financial infidelity? I don’t. Or at least, I didn’t until today when I was sitting in the doctor’s waiting room and a news piece came on CNN about it!

Did You Know?
Thirty-one percent of people who share finances with a partner say they’ve been deceptive about money, according to a recent survey by the National Endowment for Financial Education, or NEFE, a Denver, Colo.-based nonprofit (CNN.com).
Even Worse?
34% said they flat-out lied about debt or income (CNN.com).
The Result?
In NEFE’s survey, 16% of the respondents said their financial infidelity eventually resulted in divorce(CNN.com).
My love for Etsy is going to get me into some serious trouble! I just ordered this cute hanger to hold my gown on the day of the wedding! It’s all about the details and the photo opportunities. I don’t want an ugly plastic hanger ruining my photos!

On a side note:EricaMayMade is a pleasure to work with! So, if you want hangers like these, contact her. She is the woman to work with!
Hi! My name is {WiredBride} and I have a shoe obsession! There I said it! Phew!
Honestly, I have hundreds of shoes! HUNDREDS! Most I don’t even wear because they are “too pretty” to wear on the dirty streets of DC.
Even though I already have my wedding shoes, I can’t stop lusting over every pair I see!
These Badgley Mischka beauties are on sale at Endless.com for $174.10! Obsessed! I have added them to the online cart, removed them, added them again and then quickly exited out of the site! Oh, the restraint!

I am lusting over these dresses. How is it possible that one dress looks so good on so many different people?

I’m sure you heard that over the weekend, New York became the sixth and largest state to legalize same sex marriage!
The approval kicks off wedding plans expected to add an estimated $284 million to the state’s economy.
As a big fan of “LOVE” and “WEDDINGS,” I could not be happier about New York’s decision! Equality for all! Let love rule!
Yesterday sure did feel like Christmas when I came home to packages waiting for me to open! I found this particular package waiting by the front door!

…and it included this cute note! Can I just give a huge THANK YOU to Kimberly at Lilies & Lemon Drops? She was such a breeze to work with & I highly recommend her unique boutonnieres if you are a bride-to-be!

Now that I know they are the boutonnieres I ordered, I am basically drooling and ripping at the packaging, which brought me to this cute little box!

…that included this Art Deco inspired bout! Absolute perfection!

For my bridal shower in July, my sister has requested everyone wear hats! I have been on the look out for the perfect hat/fascinator for the celebration but haven’t found anything…until now!

For $295 from Etsy Seller, heysailor, I think I am going to have to pass because the price is way too steep! However, if I had an unlimited budget, I would hit the purchase key and bring some laughs to the shower!

I was dead set against wedding programs! Who needs them!?
Well, apparently, we do! After meeting with the rabbi, he suggested we have wedding programs so the gentiles in the group will understand and be able to follow the Jewish traditions.
Ok, fine! He talked me into it and makes a great point. However, I have no idea what I want them to look like. I want them to be fabulous, but I don’t want to spend a lot of money. See the dilemma? Seems to be a running theme in my life and on my blog.
There needs to be a TJ Maxx-like store for paper goods. You know, a place where you can get the fabulous, name brand things you need for a wedding for a fraction of the price! Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
The awesome wedding program pictured above set the bar high! Really high!
