The Wired Bride

My childhood friend, Kate, is getting married in October at a state park and I can’t stop day dreaming about what an outdoor wedding like this will look like!  With so much inspiration such as blankets for seats and picnic baskets (filled with goodies) as decor on each blanket, I can’t stop thinking about this wedding.

One thing I love is the idea of pine cone bouquets.

First Britney, now Justin!  The Washington Post is reporting a new story from US weekly that Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel got engaged late December while vacationing in Jackson, Wyoming.

Congratulations to the happy couple (if this really did happen)!

2012 is already off to a great start and we are now adding another wedding to our list to attend this year…lucky #8!  My beautiful best friend, Kate, is now engaged! Cheers to that!  Her handsome significant other proposed on NYE while they were camping at Big Bend National Park in West Texas. Cute! Congrats Kate and Billy Bob!

In other wedding news, Ms. Britney Spears is engaged and planning a small, Southern wedding!

Britney’s 4 carat Neil Lane engagement ring is described as under-stated and classy. It reportedly cost $90,000!

If you are disappointed by the size of the Queen of Pop’s ring, just remember ladies, the bigger the rock doesn’t always translate to a longer lasting marriage. Look at Katy Perry and Russell Brand! Her 13 carat ring reportedly cost Russell Brand $1.3 million (Source).

I’m sure you’ve heard by now, but they are now ending their 14 month marriage.  I can only imagine what Ms. Katy Perry will do with that beautiful sparkler of hers! Turn it into earrings?  A necklace? Auction it off? Donate it to charity? The possibilities are endless!
