I’m headed to my home state of Indiana to celebrate one of my dear friend’s Bridal Shower/Bachelorette Party Indy-style! Wish us luck as we tear up the town during her last fling before the ring! We have a lot of fun surprises up our sleeves in a weekend full of dancing, cocktails, gossip, and celebration!
This cute little tune just came on my Pandora station and it put a huge smile on my face as it reminds me of love + weddings + fun. You may recognize it from the movie Juno. If I had been smart and hired a videographer, I would want my wedding video to include this song!

I just got back from Miami from the wedding of the year! I mean it! My dear friend’s wedding was spectacular {for lack of a better word}. I just keep re-living the moments by clicking and re-clicking through the photos posted on Facebook.

Can you imagine if a tornado threatened your wedding? I would be an absolute disaster. Apparently, this cute little couple weren’t phased. Coming from Kansas {the groom} and Nebraska {the bride}, a tornado isn’t out of the ordinary so there was no cause for alarm. Absolutely nothing was going to rain on their parade!
Comforted by the fact that the twister wasn’t headed in the direction of their wedding, it was business as usual! Take that, bridezillas!

The big news over the weekend is that Mark Zuckerberg married his long time sweetheart, Priscilla Chan, in a surprise backyard wedding in Palo Alto. While friends close to the couple thought they were attending a party for Priscilla’s grad school graduation, they were pleasantly surprised to find out they were actually in attendance of a romantic wedding ceremony.
I have to say that her Claire Pettibone dress choice was absolute perfection!

Putting political & religious views aside, love is love, and it is about time that the leader of our country {believe}, {endorse}, and {create} equality for all.
Piece of advice? If you don’t support same-sex marriage, then don’t marry the same sex! It really is that easy. Stay off your soapbox and allow others to love {and marry} who they want. After all, it isn’t harming anyone. Oh wait! You think it ruins the sanctity of marriage? Well, let me tell you, {DIVORCE} ruins the sanctity of marriage. So…if that is the argument, then we need to make divorce illegal. How do you think that would go over?

Our September wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty blog. Waking up to an email from my photographer stating that the post was going live was a dream come true.
Seeing all of our images compiled online was a great way to relive our special day. It’s hard to believe it was already eight months ago. Time really does fly when you’re having fun!
