As an attendee of a bridal shower, you may ask yourself, “What gift do I bring?”
Some go the safe route and buy from the wedding registry, while others choose a more creative route. Some of my favorite gifts at my own bridal shower were of the creative kind.
If you are attending a bridal shower and need gift ideas, READ ON!
Option #1: Wine Basket Poem

This gift is super EASY and simply AWESOME! The wine basket comes with six cute poems for each wine bottle that signifies the first six big days the new couple will face during their marriage. You know the typical, Wedding Night Celebration, First Fight, First Baby, etc.

Option #2:Customized Cook Book

This hard cover, spiral bound, customizable cook book is from TasteBook! It’s the perfect gift for the culinary bride (or one who wishes she were)! You can collect reviews from friends and family or choose from the list over 2 million recipes uploaded by others.
Option #3: Future Mrs.Metal Bracelet

There are many variations of this metal bracelet but they all say the same cute thing… “Future Mrs. X”! (the bracelet pictured is from MaxingtonBear on Etsy.com.)
Option #4: Lingerie

Most often reserved for the Bachelorette party, modest lingerie is always a great way to go for the Bridal Shower. This cute little robe from Victoria’s Secret is a safe choice!
I’m late, I’m late, for a very important date…
The MadHatter Bridal Shower was a success! My sister, future sister-in-law, & soon to be mother-in-law made it so special!
My sister created all the centerpieces - red splattered white roses (remember that part?), tea cup centerpieces, and the guest favors of personalized tea bags and sugar spoons! (SO CUTE!)

The cake was absolutely delicious!

A big thank you to my soon to be mother in law for the cake! And if you were wondering, we saved the hat!

See the fun hats? All of the attendants wore a hat to complement their sun dresses! It was such a fun time! The brunch and mimosa breakfast was a big winner!

I just found the most beautiful bridal shower “cake!” I am literally drooling over how gorgeous it is! What do you think?
If you are an LA area bride, you need to run, not walk to Bon Cafetit!

These images for a candy-themed bridal shower are aimed right at my sweet teeth! I would eat candy for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if it was acceptable. This must be why my recent trip to the dentist revealed nine (9) cavities - yikes!
I digress! A candy-themed shower is the coolest idea for a bride with a sweet tooth like me! Who knew you could make candy look so good?

I received the invite to my bridal shower in the mail and was delighted to see that I will be having an “Alice in Wonderland” themed bridal shower! What a great surprise! It is one of my all time favorite Disney movies and coincidentally, it will be hosted at one of my all time favorite bars in DC that is also Alice in Wonderland themed.
Here is the cute little invite -

…and here is the back of the invite where guests are instructed to include recipes!

What you don’t see? The invites had a belly band on it inviting guests to wear fun hats! My sister/maid of honor is amazing & so creative! Who has very best maid of honor ever? I do! Too bad if you felt you did because I have you beat….by a longshot.
A Mimosa and Bloody Mary bar? Yes, I think so! Don’t mind if I do!
