Today is {National Tequila Day}! Today also marks the day of birth of myself, my lovely twin sister, and the gorgeous Jennifer Lopez!
Happy Birthday to us!
I plan to take full advantage of this national holiday with the excuse that it’s my birthday!

I love statement pieces! Shall we include one of these odd cakes for the dessert bar?
Here are three strange examples to add a fun flair to the “wedding cake.” (Pictures taken from Wedding Paper Divas)
Donut Cake

Hostess Cake

M&M Cake

For a gal who claims not to like cake, I sure have found myself thinking a lot about it and posting a lot of pictures. Might as well keep the trend going for another day or so! Enjoy & try not to get too hungry! :)
I stumbled across an amazing DIY idea that never crossed my mind. If you really want a photobooth but can’t fit it into the budget AND you own a Mac, problem solved! Set up your Macbook on a table and use the Photo Booth Application.

Now all you need are some cool props!

You could either have a printer alongside or you could print out your guests’ pictures after the wedding and include their fun photos in the thank you cards you send to them!

I must apologize for the lack of posts the past few days but I have been swamped with work and the like. Also, I was out of town for the Labor Day weekend. I spent some time in Chicago for sister’s wedding party.
Sister’s wedding party was amazing! Because she had an intimate family - only elopement on Easter Weekend, her husband’s family wanted to throw them a get together. Chad’s uncle hosted it at his house and invited close friends and family from the original guest list. Casey and Chad are probably the most well-loved couple I have ever known. They had 59 of the 75 people invited actually attend.

The house was decorated with a lot of small details she wanted at the actual wedding. Blown up pictures, a candy station, cookies and milk station, s’mores, etc. Entering their house took my breath away and made me shed a few alligator tears.

Fun was had by all. I, of course, got caught with my hand in the Swedish Fish jar…

And finally…their custom made candy bars, which was a nice touch!
