I can not believe Gossip Girl is…over! Done! Finished! Canceled! Wrapped Up! However, you want to phrase it, we are left to watch re-runs on TV to see what “Blair” and “Serena” are up to in the Upper West Side of NYC.
Because I missed the finale on Monday because I could not keep my little eyeballs open, I watched it online the next day and all I can say is, “whoa!” There were two weddings and they could not have been more different! For the full scoop of both dresses, click here!

Did you tune in? Who’s dress did you like best? Would you choose either dress for your own wedding?

While I am late getting onboard the addiction of the gossip girl series (“addiction” is an understatement), I recently heard the news that Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds tied the knot in Charleston, SC. Talk about a dream venue - they wed in the same place the Notebook was filmed. Whoa!
Congrats to the newly married couple.
Mazel Tov!
Writing and sharing our own vows on our wedding day was the most special way of expressing our deepest emotions with each other, while also declaring our love and promises to our closest friends and family.
Want to know a total superficial thought? If I had a redo, I would have had the right mind to write my vows on beautiful handcrafted paper, instead of the back of a plain white envelope. What in the world was I thinking?

This cute little wedding featured on Martha Stewart Weddings took “involving the police” to a whole new level when the local police graciously held sign props to direct attendee traffic from the wedding to the reception.
Oh, the perks of life in a small town…

Our dear friends {Nick + Annie} were married in an outdoor ceremony in Saugatuck, Michigan a few weeks back and my mouth is still watering from all the drool-worthy food!
I’m told that the caterer picked and pulled the fruits and veggies from the Earth the morning of the wedding and you could definitely tell! Believe me, it made a huge difference in the freshness + taste department.
If you are wanting a green wedding, choose a caterer with a garden! Your guests will thank you later! Promise!
1. Cocktail Period: By beginning with a cocktail perios you will give your guests a chance to gather at the receotion facility, deposit their gifts and meet and mingle with other guests. It will also provide time for lost guests to find their way to the reception. Meanwhile backstage, this time…
Our dear friends are getting married in {South Dakota} over {Labor Day Weekend}, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be there as guests to witness their nuptials. After our cross-country road trip, we have a soft spot in our hearts for South Dakota.
As if we weren’t excited enough already, their engagement photos have me wishing for September!
If you couldn’t tell from the photo above, they are pretty cool people! And by, pretty cool…I mean, they are awesome!

The big news over the weekend is that Mark Zuckerberg married his long time sweetheart, Priscilla Chan, in a surprise backyard wedding in Palo Alto. While friends close to the couple thought they were attending a party for Priscilla’s grad school graduation, they were pleasantly surprised to find out they were actually in attendance of a romantic wedding ceremony.
I have to say that her Claire Pettibone dress choice was absolute perfection!

Obama endorsed same-sex marriage yesterday, which is a big win for 2012! Hello, welcome to the new world, people!

Putting political & religious views aside, love is love, and it is about time that the leader of our country {believe}, {endorse}, and {create} equality for all.
Piece of advice? If you don’t support same-sex marriage, then don’t marry the same sex! It really is that easy. Stay off your soapbox and allow others to love {and marry} who they want. After all, it isn’t harming anyone. Oh wait! You think it ruins the sanctity of marriage? Well, let me tell you, {DIVORCE} ruins the sanctity of marriage. So…if that is the argument, then we need to make divorce illegal. How do you think that would go over?
Yep, I said it! Go Obama!
